Menu Plan for March 14th

Our power was yesterday afternoon and didn't come back till early this morning. Consequently I'm having a bit of a slow start this morning! I finally got my plan together, though, here it is:

Monday - Leftovers or sandwiches

Tuesday - Tortilla soup

Wednesday - Sweet & sour pork, rice & broccoli

Thursday - Cheeseburger buns & salad

Friday - Crock-pot chicken dinner

Saturday - Carne asada, beans, rice & tortillas

Sunday - Not sure yet :o)

Menu Plan for March 7th

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted my menu! I've had a lot on my plate lately and menu planning has been pushed to the back burner. Things are starting to look better now, so hopefully I'll be a regular participant in MPM again! Here is my menu for this week:

Monday - Chicken rice-a-roni, salad

Tuesday - Crock-pot potatoes and sausage, brocoli

Wednesday - Brown rice and lentil casserole, cauliflower

Thursday - Honey ginger chicken & rice

Friday - Grandma's 90th birthday party!

Saturday - Crock-pot chicken dinner

Sunday - Crock-pot stew

LEM Photo Challenge - Reflections

This week the theme at Live Every Moment is Reflections. I never got the typical "ring" shot at my wedding. To be fair, I didn't know I wanted it ;o) However, since getting into photography I've seen a lot of really neat ones and planned to do my own "one of these days", lol. Well that day finally came about a week ago. This is one of the shots from the shoot. I have a couple shots that are better shots of the rings, but I really liked the reflection in this one. Thus the reason for entering it in this weeks competition.

This weeks challenge at Trendy Treehouse is "Swing". This is one of my favorite pictures of Peanut. She LOVES this coat! It will be interesting to see what happens when she outgrows it ;-)

LEM Photo Challenge - Blue

So Live Every Moments challenge this week is blue. So, of course, I immediately thought of all my Hawaii pictures. Blue skies and blue water everywhere! But, oh, how to pick just one! I finally decided on this one of my oldest. I don't feature her here as much, her younger siblings tend to hog the camera, lol. But she is starting to turn into a beautiful young woman and I just think this picture of her is so precious.

Dimples!
